During the years he lived in Eugene, Oregon, Neske founded Spoken Buzz, a poetry performance group. Spoken Buzz has the distinction of being the first group to perform poetry on the main stage at Eugene's Saturday Market. When Spoken Buzz first formed they could be found busking on street corners and at local gatherings. The group soon went on to other performances at Hungry Head Books, The W.O.W. Hall, the Willamette Valley Folk Festival, the Art and the Vineyard Festival, the Ben Linder Room at the University of Oregon, and headlined at the Red Sky Poetry Theatre in Seattle - the longest continually operating open mic on the west coast.

Neske has performed solo at the fourth annual Allen Ginsberg Marathon in Auburn, WA; made a small guest appearance at the Seattle Poetry Festival; attended the 2001 National Poetry Slam in Seattle; and has performed at many local area poetry venues such as Foolscap Books, the Buzz Café, Chez Ray's North Beach, Sam Bond's Garage, Hungry Head Books, Tsunami Books-- as well as many other bookstores, coffee houses, street corners, and sidewalks. He has also taught poetry workshops and performed at Fools for the Earth, Youth Making Creative Acts, and the Youth Culture Camp sponsored by the Oregon Country Fair.

Neske now lives in Chico, California. There he writes full time, and travels extensively to both perform his poetry and to attend a multitude of poetry events. He may be coming soon to a location near you.
