DAVE PAGE
www.franktwolfe.com

Dave is an independent author. His book, Surviving Frank, as well as other information, is available here. It's a great book, destined to become a cult classic. It is a comic satire about a Boston cop who happens to be a werewolf. He easily creates a world very similar to our own, with just enough differences to make the fantasy lifelike and approachable. Help support independent artists!

ELEVENTH HOUR PRODUCTIONS
www.poetryfestival.org

These are the folks responsible for the Seattle Poetry Festival. I was chosen (from a hat) to read at the open mic on the main stage on the final night of the festival. I like to pretend that I warmed up the stage for Ishmael Reed, but he went on almost an hour after I got off -- but I still have the complimentary ticket.

We help these young people express themselves through poetry and other forms of writing. In addition to working directly with the teens, Pongo publishes annual anthologies of the young people's work. Three-quarters of the books we publish are given away to teens in difficult circumstances and to charities and individuals that help these teens.

GREGORY MCKENNA
www.treemonster.com

Gregory is a recreational treeclimber, and his page is dedicated to that pursuit. He is responsible for leading me up a 200 ft tree, which was just an amazing trip -- as well as a 4 hour workout. I've helped him out on his treeclimbing guide, which should be out in stores someday. Treeclimbing is a very interesting alternative activity (I've been trying to not call it a sport), and if you have a desire to climb some of the biggest trees in the world, or if you just need some one to rescue your cat -- this is the place to go.

MATT NATHANSON
www.mattnathanson.com

Matt is just an amazing singer-song writer based out of San Francisco, but tours all over the country. He's very inspiring, too. I've written two poems about his shows now (one is on this site), and I am waiting for him to use it on his website or his liner notes. Check out his site, there are some samples of his music to hook you, and a listing of his upcoming shows so you can go see him. You can buy his CDs on-line as well. Help support independent artists!

JEN PONCE
www.franktwolfe.com/jensite/jenindex.html

Jen is a graphic designer, and partnered with Dave Page (see above). She is a great artist, and has done two of my chapbook covers. I believe she does graphic design, web page design, bookcovers, and all kinds of other artistic phenomena. Please visit her site and check out some of her amazing art.

MAUREEN WANG
www.membio.com

Maureen is a friend of mine who designs websites and does all kinds of other computer related things which I don't understand. I know because she's tried explaining them to me --which was very nice of her-- but it didn't work. Thanks Mo.
