022: In the summer/the earth's surface is...

In the summer

the earth's surface is

a drum head vibrating

thumbing to some orgasmic

groove the sun pounds

in some syncopated beating

stirring us, moving us

to find the IT in the

movement it inspires

in the deep wilderness of

our souls, of our spirit

 

i t delights our deeps

where all dances begin

and unrestrained we leap

again to the universal rhythms.
