111: I slept outside last night/and dreamed of you...

I slept outside last night

and dreamed of you

It was warm and raining

Rain falling out of the clouds

down the curve of the grass

You were naked without your barriers

without your need for them

I asked you a question without words

You replied. I asked again

Even with all the precautions

you’ve taken to keep me out

you still hear this voice

A thousand more unspoken emotions bind us

Forget your safety

inside you there’s a lover

you don’t know about

her kisses taste like a drop of spring rain
