112: It’s so hard to realize you’re alive sometimes/All this breath is so fleeting...

It’s so hard to realize you’re alive sometimes

All this breath is so fleeting

how can we possibly sleep though it

and let it pass unattended?

Yet we do.

This isn’t a museum

these paintings are not merely pictures

this is your existence you’re looking at

and not feeling, not living

Passion is not falling

          asleep to the lullaby

Remember:

All you are feeling

Right now

Inside this second,

the ten thousand things happening

in the arrangement of everything

All of it is unique

          Only to this instant

Live all of it

In the space between two letters

          it is changed

          never to be repeated

Don’t waste another breath

reading this poem

unless you can breathe life

into these words and resurrect

this rainbow I’m inside of.
