137: We don’t know each other/as we should...

We don’t know each other

as we should

It’s my fault

I don’t say a lot

          my quiet

this fast away from words

takes so much of my time,

When I find a woman who I’m attracted to

who I am interested in and

                      want to know

I get so scared of her

I can not tell you

how frightened I am of you

All this silence and avoidance

confide in me

           they tell me:

“We are our only enemies”

In every person’s life

there is a love

one can not let go of

How many more must we fail to grasp?
