147: I understand your wanting to be quiet with me/so we can see what is between us...

I understand your wanting to be quiet with me

so we can see what is between us

besides the words we always use

to express only with our looking and our contact or

          non-contact

by sensing each others’ intentions,

each others’ weights,

by communicating with form, structure, movement,

or the absence of these things.

This is the communication we use when there are no words

This is how we describe the pattern

our different strings create in this tapestry

whose weaving we participate in

Is your space private?

Can people see in?

We should meet

in a space without windows

and only one door that

no one can pass through but us

There we will be completely free from restrictions

to say all the things that can’t be said

           to dance the unnameable

I can think of the 10,000

intimate things without words

I want you to know

I want to show you the nudity

all my words can’t

reveal
