175: Again I find myself saying these things/that I have said so often before because...

Again I find myself saying these things

that I have said so often before because

          you haven’t heard them,

I still haven’t made them understandable,

          because this division and divisiveness

still happens

with all of that energy work

towards union or understanding

everybody wishes for world peace

(well I’m hear to tell you that)

Buddha, Jesus, and Mohammed

worked for it

and I mean they worked for it and

lived the intention of their wishing

but they first

did for themselves what they wanted for the rest of the world

you have to be able to do it yourself first

so if you want barriers and separation

you don’t have to work at all

(you can be lazy)

because we all have barriers and separation

if you want union or togetherness

pick up a hammer and a nail, or

a shovel and a bucket

because there’s work to be done

and everyday I start with me

and I am blistered, cramped, and tired

from years of hard labor

but I’m happiest

doing this work

working on me

and if a nail bends

you get a new nail

and if a shovel breaks

get a new shovel or use your hands

          be desperate and crazy

          manic for the struggling

cause being beat

means you say a lot

but it means that you’re done

and not getting up to work

and all the talk without the doing

doesn’t really get you anywhere

certainly not up

certainly not closer to the IT

you can see the IT in drugs

you can hear the IT in jazz

but if you want to own the IT

you have to sign the papers

do the work, and make the payments

go ahead build castles in the air,

just remember to build foundations under them

I know I have to learn how

to say these things without being so

accusingly direct

but what can you expect

from one who is still in the hole

trying to make it out.
