180: silence/my favorite topic...

silence

my favorite topic

for conversation

speaks

like a blade of grass

on a clear, windless day

 

slides

along my consciousness

but makes no prick

takes no hold

but rolls along the outside

not penetrating

but being absorbed

 

when the flames of the soul

are quiet

the coals of the spirit

glow

           white hot.
