I believe in the mountains

          and the ability

          under our own power

          to climb above

          to BE the summit

          the first light touches

I believe in the a thousand naked summers

          riding on the wind’s back,

          in pirates,

          and faeries,

          in a place called Neverland

I believe in the power of fantasy

          in the power of imagination

          to awaken

          and to wake us

          from details

          and deliver us to wonder—

          to life

I believe the first light which touches

         the summit is not mystical

         it is emotional

         and when we wonder

         we feel
