212: I saw a muse!/a goddess! standing...
Monday, May 2, 2011 at 7:42AM I saw a muse!
a goddess! standing
in a door way looking out
So I walked up
I walked up to her and kissed her
I kissed her like
ecstasy and the rain
fell and the sun fell
and the world, the world fell
I opened my eyes and
it was all gone and I,
I was alone (except for
the moon)
on a mountain top named
Kahtadin
So I made love to the moon
on the knife-edge summit while
my sanity was being cut in three
while I was screaming the lyrics
of the oldest songs I know
I know
I know it sounds like lunacy
but this is where my dreams take me
when I sleep next to you!
Spring nights of vernal desire
I come without my seed spilling
without spilling my seed and you—
you come like a tide
orgasm building for six hours
waves crashing on your own
rocks, on your own reefs,
on any shallow, on any resistance
slowing eroding any structure
and you scream
you scream like a wave crashing
your voice is a thunder clap
is desire manifest
you tear into me
you tear me with your finger nails
my back is blood and scars
the sheets are bandages
And All This,
All This
because I saw you in
some doorway looking
out and I kissed you
I kissed you like ecstasy
My muse
My goddess
What poem will we write next time?!
