I want you to turn away from me

turn away from the sound and fury of

this cosmic shouting,

this emotional spill,

these frivolous stories,

this pedestrian entertainment

turn away from all the world casually

thrown at you with sound bites of wit with

lines of attention grabbing beauty

turn away from all these

          and all words uttered and

look towards the message which steers you toward enlightenment

          Where is that poem?

It is not here

           I have not said it

                    No one here has said it

                   You know it

the words escape you, but

say it any way in

any way you can say it

anything else is mere prose for show
