my mind

orchard

trees orange

in autumn

long after

fruit and nuts

are gone

harvested

orange

for no apparent

reason but

to be orange

orange like

I’d like to be orange

To be and

not know you

are giving

by doing just

what comes

natural

and having

nothing to do

with the expectations

of others

of what

you should

produce
