How can I say (describe)

this meeting you (again)

                    this introduction of

                    still not knowing each other, but

           this pleasure of recognition

this small joy in my eyes—

did I see it in yours, too?

or did I imagine it

or am I mistaken?

or does it matter at all

There is this new

          joy

in the world

                     born

from our chance encounter

and

          that

is enough

                      reason

to celebrate this day.
